Send a Document for Signing
Get your PDF signed by multiple people in minutes. No account required.
- Enter your details – Enter your full name and email address. Check the box if you will also sign the document yourself.
- Add signers – Enter the email addresses of everyone who needs to sign the document. You can add up to 8 signers per document.
- Upload your PDF – Select and upload the PDF document you need signed. The maximum file size is 10 MB.
- Mark signature fields – Use drag and drop to place signature, name, and date fields on the document. Assign each field to the appropriate signer.
- Require ID verification (optional) – If you need additional identity confirmation, enable this option to ask signers to upload a photo of their ID before they can sign.
- Set options and pay – Create a PIN to check the signing status later, choose how long the signing link stays valid, then complete your payment to send the document.
Once you complete payment, all signers receive an email invitation immediately. You can track the signing progress anytime using your status link and PIN.
Sign a Document
Sign a document sent to you via email. No account or app required.
- Open the signing link – Click the unique signing link in the email you received. No account creation or app download is needed.
- Review the document – Read through the entire document carefully. You can zoom in on any section and scroll through all pages.
- Upload ID (if required) – If the sender requested identity verification, use your phone camera to take a photo of your ID document.
- Draw your signature – Use your mouse, finger on a touchscreen, or a stylus to draw your signature in the designated field.
- Agree and submit – Review your signature, check the agreement box to confirm, and click submit to complete the signing process.
Once all signers have completed their signatures, everyone receives an email with a link to download the fully signed document.
Verify a Signed Document
Verify the FreeTSA timestamp certification of a signed PDF.
- Go to the verification page – Navigate to the SimplSign verification tool from the main menu or footer.
- Upload the signed PDF – Select and upload the signed PDF you want to verify. The file is processed entirely in your browser for privacy.
- View results – See whether the document has a valid timestamp, when it was certified, and the cryptographic hash that proves the document has not been altered.
The FreeTSA timestamp provides cryptographic proof that the document existed in its exact form at a specific point in time.
